Ingredients
50 g of chestnut flour
180 g of flour
25 g of starch
20 g of cocoa
5 eggs
170 g of sugar
160 g of soft butter
100 g of crumbled boiled chestnuts
30 g of candied orange
50 g of orange juice
Grated peel of 1 orange
1 sachet of yeast
2-3 pinches of salt
Walnuts to taste for decoration
 
Procedure
In one bowl assembled with the electric mixer Mix the butter with the egg yolks and sugar, add the chestnut flour and starch, then the juice and zest of the previously grated orange.
Continue by incorporating the white flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa, alternating with the beaten egg whites.
Enrich the dough with crumbled chestnuts and candied fruit.
Mix well, then pour the mixture into the donut mold Butter and flour the cake, sprinkle the coarsely chopped walnuts on top and bake at 175° for 30 minutes.
