They are diuretics, so they fight water retention and help to regain health and fitness. They are even considered aphrodisiacs, have an anti-depressant function and are good for the mood. In short, they are valuable vegetables, provided you cook them in the right way. Yes, because it's easy to say 'tonight asparagus!': do you have asparagus?
